Development of Pore Pressure Estimation Model Using 3D Seismic and Well logs Data

Undoubtedly, estimating the pore pressure model in geomechanical assessments as well as designing drilling operations, especially determining the safe window of mud weight, is one of the key operations in the upstream oil and gas industries. In this project, in order to reduce the uncertainty of three-dimensional and four-dimensional models, pore pressure estimation models using three-dimensional seismic data as well as well diagrams using new and combined methods are presented. This model can be used in well stability assessments, construction of three-dimensional geomechanical models as well as both hydro-thermo-mechanical (THM) simulations. One of the most important achievements of this project is reducing the risk associated with estimating the pore pressure in hydrocarbon fields.
